Have you ever asked yourself? Why, the heck is this happening?
When people, things, place show up in our life, it must be the work of God the Universe or whatever you like to call it.
If you would’ve told me, I’d be meeting and establishing a friendship with the Son, who the father......
was one of Fidel Castro’s right hand-men, I would have laughed at you.
Well, for the past month or so, I have had the pleasure of having deep conversations with .....
Juan Juan Alemeida, his lovely wife Consuelo and his lovely daughter Indira.
Yes, Indira is the Grand- daughter of Juan Alemeida and Juan Juan is his Son.
For those who do not know the story, I encourage you to visit http://www.raicesdeesperanza.org/
and purchase the DVD, and it will shed light on this simple piece, on my blog.
A month ago Juan Juan, Consuelo and Indira invited me to be their guest at the release of a new documentary, The Grandchildren of the Cuban Revolution, directed by Carlos Montaner Jr.
Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The Grandchildren of the Cuban Revolution is sponsored by a dynamic not-for profit organization,
Roots of Hope / Raices De Esperanza.
Who I am a member and support.
By now you may be saying, Ok Gina, what is the big deal of you and this Juan Juan being friends?
Well, that story will be coming soon as well, here is a preview.
Juan Alemeida (Father) fought along with Fidel Castro against the government of Batista and
the Armed Forces of Cuba.
My Father, Merob Sosa Garcia, fought against Fidel Castro under the government of Batista and for the Armed Forces of Cuba.
While in the United States during the years 1960 to 1962, he felt and told President John F. Kennedy and the CIA do not negotiate with Juan Alemeida the Bay of Pigs invasion.
We all know what happened there, again just a preview.........
In lieu of whom our Fathers were it would be difficult to establish a friendship!
Yet, fate, destiny the origin of the Cuban situation has lead us to meet and bridge the gap, perhaps to bring hope to a new generation, who understands, and is wise enough to see that the Cuban revolution.....
did and has done NOTHING for Cuba or its people since 1959 to date.
Juan and I cannot deny who we are, who our Fathers were.
However, we can talk, place the cards on the table, and move forward to stand United!
To be a beacon of light, change and freedom for what is the dream of many…..”A Free Cuba” !
without Castro and his pathetic greedy ideologies, which has taken Cuba backward in time and stuck and going nowhere!
If this is what it takes, to once and for all and in the name of “LIBERTY” come together for a cause that is Greater than all of us than so be it!
If you want to make a positive impact on Cuba, I encourage you, again, to visit and support
Roots of Hope / Raices De Esperanza at raicesdeesperanza.org
Their three basic principles: love, friendship and hope.
May God Bless America and Cuba!!!!

Juanes- President Obama release the 5 Cuban spies....
Juanes and friends must be craving for publicity!
Showing he has no empathy or compassion for the plight of the Cuban people.
Never taking into account the amount of damaged caused by the Castro regime.
The number of lives lost at sea just to reach the destination of “freedom.”
These are the same 3 who held a so called “Peace” concert a year ago for the people of Cuba!
I have not heard Juanes, Tanon or Bose say anything about the ladies in white, the death of Zapata and others jailed and tortured by Castro.
Furthermore, political prisoners and those of conscious never had a trail, just like all those they have murdered throughout the years, never given due process.
The 5 spies were trailed by a legal court of the United States of America.
The sentence the 5 are serving is because they are SPIES who were sent by the pathetic communist-socialist regime of Fidel and Raul Castro.
Briefing on the 5 Spies:
The leader of the "Cuban Five" was convicted of plotting with the Cuban military to kill three American citizens and a permanent resident in the February 1996 shoot down of two civilian planes over international waters by Castro's jet fighters.
The Obama Administration has made it very clear that the "Cuban Five" are not subject to release or a prisoner exchange of any kind.
Bravo to Obama and his administration!
I sure hope this is another lesson learned for Cubans not to be fooled by the Juanes agenda and behind his word “peace”.
There is peace in Cuba, hello there is NO WAR going on…What Cuba needs is Freedom and Democracy from the claws of a cruel dictator.
The people of Cuba deserve to live with dignity and peace of mind when they express their opinions, that they will not be jailed or killed. This is the Peace Cuba needs!
Juanes stay out of the Cuban issue!
Focus on your own Country and find something else to do with your little friends.

Former Political Prisoner-Ariel Sigler Amaya
So is it torture or not?
Torture: What does it mean? According to Webster's dictionary it is....
the act of inflicting excruciating pain, as punishment or revenge, as a means of getting a confession or information, or for sheer cruelty.
extreme anguish of body or mind; agony
This is exactly what the Castro regime has done to its political prisoners man and woman.
On Agust 1, 2010, I experienced the torture done to Ariel Sigler Amaya, I visited with him and his family at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
A man who used to be a boxer, is now in a wheel chair, thanks to Mr. Torture, Fidel Castro!
Thanks to the USA and certain Cuban-American Congress people pushing to get him to Miami for medical evaluation and treatment.
Because in Cuba the Cuban people cannot get the best medical attention, this is reserved for one Cuban family, the Castro's.
The Castro's wanted to break him mentally and physically. Mentally they could not! Physically, they sure have done it, yet Ariel will walk again, as per his team of doctors at Jackson.
Of course the old dinosaur Castro will tell you they do not and have never tortured in Cuba. The old dinosaur is back in the public eye, to draw attention to his re-appearance and twist the story of all the political prisoners whom are being freed and sent to Spain negotiaed by the Catholic Church.
With all due respect to the Catholic church, since when did the Catholic church become the spokesperson for the Cuban people and the exile community. What the Catholic church needs to negotiate is for Mr. Torture (CASTRO) and company to seek exile out of Cuba.
Negotiate for the Cuban people, not for a cruel, cold killer that tortures his own people.
The Cuban people, just like all human beings, are born with GOD given right to be FREE!
Free in their own country, to travel to and from their own country without asking for.................... PERMISSION!
The Castro regime for the past 50 years + have only applied contrasting principles.

Behind the Release, Behind the Re-Appearance
Great! Cuban Political Prisoners have been released and have arrived in Spain.
Yet, why is it, they, cannot stay in Cuba?
Why, is it that to be released they must leave Cuba?
The release of these prisoners, the sudden re-appearance of the dinosaur, Fidel Castro talking about the end of the World and how Iran should run their country.
Give me a break! Castro has done NOTHING for Cuba, the only thing he has done is destroy Cuba and the Cuban people.
Fidel, it is Not the End of the World! It is the END OF YOUR WORLD, as you know it.
The end of your pathetic revolution. The end of the Castro dynasty!
The only one that needs to leave Cuba is Castro!
Not the political prisoners.
I think the Cuban people have had enough of your bull.
Yes, I agree with you Fidel…The End of your World has arrived!
Adios,

Happy Birthday AMERICA!!!
Americans prepare to celebrate the 4th of July with Sparks, Fire Crackers, Food, Family and Friends!
Celebrating America’s Independence from the British Crown!
The Declaration of Independence, histories most amazing document ever written.
Many NATIONS, may have their difference with the USA, yet when something happens, the first to take the leadership position, is the USA to help fellow human beings.
Liberty and Freedom is the Greatest AMERICAN Value! Therefore, Americans will defend it to the end.
Many in the USA take liberty and freedom for granted for they do not know what it is like, when it is taken from them. Never take your liberty, freedom and the pursuit of happiness, for granted!
We grow and learn from the lessons of history and we can appreciate the essence of liberty, perhaps when you speak to people who seek liberty and come to America. It is amazing how they value the vision of the forefathers of this Great country, America.
Perhaps these values must be replicated in those countries who seek to be free from dictators and or governmental systems; which are not for the people or by the people.
May the bells of liberty reign in all nations who seek, unalienable rights, among them life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Happy Birthday AMERICA & God Bless You!!!!

The Double Standards of the Castro Regime & The Puppets,,,,,
Why, can the singer Silvio Rodriguez have a Concert in New York?
Yet the Castro regime would NOT allow Yoani Sanchez travel to New York to receive her well deserved award!
Silvio Rodriguez and his concert promotor Hugo Cancio talk about lifting the Embargo, What Embargo?
He talks about evolution, I think he copied that from Andy Garcia's movie The Lost City.
Here is a reality check for Silvio and Hugo, There is NO EMBARGO!!! THE ONLY EMBARGO IS THE ONE CASTRO HAS ON THE PEOPLE OF CUBA!
This so called "cultural exchange" is a one way exchange that only benefits the Castro regime. Silvio, you want to Tango? It takes Two! Let's dance..... Let's get to the real and true reason behind this cultural exchange.
Your boy's the Castro brothers and their pathetic and worthless revolution is OVER and YOU know it. Yes, let us evolve into a Cuba with NO Double Standards, with No status quo and with NO CASTRO!
Let's dance the revolution out of Cuba, let the dance of evolution, liberty, freedom, democracy take you by the hand and lead You.
Please tell your pathetic terrorists dictators, that we are ready to dance, the dance must have an exchange without conditions and preferably without them.
Enjoy the Empire State, who your terrorist dictator Castro envy's so much.
Silvio Rodriguez and Hugo Cancio, can you tell us, how this concert will benefit the people of Cuba?
Can you tell me, if I can go to the Country that I was born without permission or a Visa as if I was born somewhere else. Can you tell me when Yoani Sanchez and many others can travel outside of their Country? Like YOU do?
You know what we call people like you in New York...Brown Nose, Ass Kisser, have no guts to stand up to the status quo. I pray that your pathetic dictator the Castros either leave Cuba or Die once and for all.
See you on TOP of the Empire!

Home of the Eagles!!!
Career Day at Mae M Walters Elementary School in Hialeah, Florida. Rated an A School!!!
Throughout my career I have spoken at the corporate, business and adult level. When I received an invitation to speak at Mae M Walters, I was humbled for the audience was made up of 5th, 4th and 3rd graders.
Children born in the USA from immigrant families from Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela,etc...
I could only accept!
Eagles for sure are these KIDS and their Teachers! You can feel the energy of excellence in this school.
The day was designed to expose children to different careers, which keep our community thriving.
If I could make just one difference in their life, it was to let them know, they can Make it Happen!
I was there for them to have fun, make note of the importance of education, and working together with their teachers, to be able to compete in a Global economy.
Drive home the importance of writing on paper their dreams and for them to dream "BIG"!
Must do all this at their grade level and take note of their diversified background and culture.
It was an amazing interactive presentation, hope they learned something from me, for I sure always learn something from children.
The kids at Mae M Walters can be anything they want to be! For the foundation has been set for them to make it happen.
I left with the feeling that a future President will be coming from this school, perhaps the first of Latino background.
The feeling that many of them will be giving back not only to the United States, yet to their parents and or grandparents homeland. It is something you feel in their questions and dreams.
An amazing day with the present and future on the horizon.
Home of the Eagles is a Beacon of Light in Hialeah.
And they WILL Make it Happen!

49th Anniversary of the Bay of Pigs..Playa Giron!
April 17th 2010, the 49th Anniversary, of the Bay of Pigs, in Spanish, Playa de Giron!
The only Cuban hero’s are all those who fight or have fought against the Castro’s and Che Guevara.
In the present moment the heros are The Lady’s in White/Las Damas de Blanco, Yoani Sanchez, Cuban bloggers, Prisoners of Conscious and Political and all those that make it their daily bread to fight for human rights in Cuba and elsewhere.
On April 17, 1961, These were and are the Hero’s, approximately 1,300 courageous Cuban patriots belonging to the Assault Brigade “2506” landed on Cuban beaches. There mission was to overthrow Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and to reestablish democracy in their homeland. Nevertheless, the military operation at the Bay of Pigs which had been personally approved by President John F. Kennedy lasted only three days.
After 72 hours of continuous fighting, exhausted, they found themselves surrounded by more than 40,000 enemy troops, hundreds of artillery pieces and more than 50 heavy tanks. Soon they would realize that we had been abandoned by those who had recruited, encouraged, organized and trained us—American U.S. warships carrying more than 2,000 marines watched our inevitable defeat from only miles away. The American fighter planes flew over our heads, rocked their wings as a sign of friendship, and continued their flight without firing a single shot.
I can go on, yet I will not!
In my earlier youth, I would listen to my father and mother and man who were part of La Brigade 2506 and la Rosa Blanca organization, at the time the only Cuban-American organization. I could not believe what they were saying, yet history, has shown the truth of their life experience.
John F. Kennedy would be forced to abort the mission!
In my late teens and adult life, I remember friends of my Father, Lt. Cornel Merob Sosa Garcia, telling me, your Dad was right, JFK, would have to abandon the mission. These friends were men who went to the Bay of Pigs, men that served the United States Army, Marine, FBI and CIA of the United States of America.
Their hope, for a Free Cuba! Shattered!!! Now they must concentrate on getting out the political prisoner’s and wheel and deal with the U. S. government. Move on to another military operation, yet fate had something else destined for the Cuban exiles, the people of Cuba and for President John F. Kennedy.
The next blow and although I was only 6 years old, I can remember where I was, who was with me and my father’s expression, when the news HIT that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. He knew that the freedom for Cuba would NOW take even more time, with JFK being assassinated.
In his words and expertise, behind the JFK assassination, “ is the hand of treason and the hand of Fidel Castro”!
The story of the True Cuban Hero’s will be told!

Cuban Missile Crisis Speech by John F. Kennedy
On April 17th is the Anniversary of the Bay of Pigs, we continue to fight for CUBA's FREEDOM!!!
Good evening, my fellow citizens: - This Government, as promised, has maintained the closest surveillance of the Soviet military build-up on the island of Cuba. Within the past week, unmistakable evidence has established the fact that a series of offensive Missile sites is now in preparation on that imprisoned island. The purpose of these bases can be none other than to provide a nuclear strike capability against the Western Hemisphere.
Upon receiving the first preliminary hard information of this nature last Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., I directed that our surveillance be stepped up. And having now confirmed and completed our evaluation of the evidence and our decision on a course of action, this Government feels obliged to report this new crisis to you in fullest detail.
The characteristics of these new missile sites indicate two distinct types of installations. Several of them include medium range ballistic missiles, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead for a distance of more than 1000 nautical miles. Each of these missiles, in short, is capable of striking Washington, D.C., the Panama Canal, Cape Canaveral, Mexico City, or any other city in the south-eastern part of the United States, in Central America, or in the Caribbean area.
Additional sites not yet completed appear to be designed for intermediate range ballistic missiles capable of travelling more than twice as far-and thus capable of striking most of the major cities in the Western Hemisphere, ranging as far north as Hudson Bay, Canada, and as far south as Lima, Peru. In addition, jet bombers, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, are now being un-crated and assembled in Cuba, while the necessary air bases are being prepared.
This urgent transformation of Cuba into an important strategic base- by the presence of these large, long-range, and clearly offensive weapons of sudden mass destruction constitutes an explicit threat to the peace and security of all the Americas, in flagrant and deliberate defiance of the Rio Pact of 1947, the traditions of this Nation and hemisphere, the joint resolution of the 87th Congress, the Charter of the United Nations, and my own public warnings to the Soviets on September 4 and 13. This action also contradicts the repeated assurances of Soviet spokesmen, both publicly and privately delivered, that the arms build-up in Cuba would retain its original defensive character, and that the Soviet Union had no need or desire to station strategic missiles on the territory of any other nation.
The size of this undertaking makes clear that it has been planned for some months. Yet only last month, after I had made clear the distinction between any introduction of ground-to- ground missiles and the existence of defensive anti-aircraft missiles, the Soviet Government publicly stated on September 11th that, and I quote, "the armaments and military equipment sent to Cuba are designed exclusively for defensive purposes," that, and I quote the Soviet Government, "there is no need for the Soviet Government to shift its weapons... for a retaliatory blow to any other country, for instance Cuba," and that, and I quote their government, "the Soviet Union has so powerful rockets to carry these nuclear warheads that there is no need to search for sites for them beyond the boundaries of the Soviet Union." That statement was false. Only last Thursday, as evidence of this rapid offensive build-up was already in my hand, Soviet Foreign Minister Gromyko told me in my office that he was instructed to make it clear once again, as he said his government had already done, that Soviet assistance to Cuba, and I quote, "pursued solely for the purpose of contributing to the defence capabilities of Cuba," that, and I quote him, "training by Soviet specialists of Cuban nationals in handling defensive armaments was by no means offensive, and if it were otherwise," Mr. Gromyko went on, "the Soviet Government would never become involved in rendering such assistance." That statement also was false.
Neither the United States of America nor the world community of nations can tolerate deliberate deception and offensive threats on the part of any nation, large or small. We no longer live in a world where only the actual firing of weapons represents an efficient challenge to a nation's security to constitute maximum peril. Nuclear weapons are so destructive and ballistic missiles are so swift, that any substantially increased possibility of their use or any sudden change in their deployment may well be regarded as a definite threat to peace.
For many years, both the Soviet Union and the United States, recognizing this fact, have deployed strategic nuclear weapons with great care, never upsetting the precarious status quo which insured that these weapons would not be used in the absence of some vital challenge. Our own strategic missiles have never been transferred to the territory of any other nation under a cloak of secrecy and deception; and our history - unlike that of the Soviets since the end of World War II - demonstrates that we have no desire to dominate or conquer any other nation or impose our system upon its people. Nevertheless, American citizens have become adjusted to living daily on the bull's-eye of Soviet missiles located inside the U.S.S.R. or in submarines.
In that sense, missiles in Cuba add to an already clear and present danger - although it should be noted the nations of Latin America have never previously been subjected to a potential nuclear threat.
But this secret, swift, and extraordinary build-up of Communist missiles-in an area well known to have a special and historical relationship to the United States and the nations of the Western Hemisphere, in violation of Soviet assurances, and in defiance of American and hemispheric policy - this sudden, clandestine decision to station strategic weapons for the first time outside of Soviet soil - is a deliberately provocative and unjustified change in the status quo which cannot be accepted by this country, if our courage and our commitments are ever to be trusted again by either friend or foe.
The 1930's taught us a clear lesson: aggressive conduct, if allowed to go unchecked and unchallenged, ultimately leads to war. This nation is opposed to war. We are also true to our word. Our unswerving objective, therefore, must be to prevent the use of these missiles against this or any other country, and to secure their withdrawal or elimination from the Western Hemisphere.
Our policy has been one of patience and restraint, as befits a peaceful and powerful nation, which leads a worldwide alliance. We have been determined not to be diverted from our central concerns by mere irritants and fanatics. But now further action is required - and it is under way; and these actions may only be the beginning. We will not prematurely or unnecessarily risk the costs of worldwide nuclear war in which even the fruits of victory would be ashes in our mouth - but neither will we shrink from that risk at any time it must be faced.
Acting, therefore, in the defence of our own security and of the entire Western Hemisphere, and under the authority end trusted to me by the Constitution as endorsed by the resolution of the Congress, I have directed that the following initial steps be taken immediately:
First: To halt this offensive build-up, a strict quarantine on all offensive military in equipment under shipment to Cuba is being initiated. All ships of any kind bound for Cuba from whatever nation or port will, if found to contain cargoes of offensive weapons, be turned back. This quarantine will be extended, if needed, to other types of cargo and carriers. We are not at this time, however, denying the necessities of life as the Soviets attempted to do in their Berlin blockade of I948 -
Second: I have directed the continued and increased close surveillance of Cuba and its military build-up. The foreign ministers of the OAS, in their communiqué of October 6th, rejected secrecy on such matters in this hemisphere. Should these offensive military preparations continue, thus increasing the threat to the hemisphere, further action will be justified. I have directed the Armed Forces to prepare for any eventualities; and I trust that in the interest of both the Cuban people and the Soviet technicians at the sites, the hazards to all concerned of continuing this threat will be recognized.
Third: It shall be the policy of this Nation to regard any nuclear missile launched from Cuba against any nation in the Western Hemisphere as an attack by the Soviet Union on the United States, requiring a full retaliatory response upon the Soviet Union.
Fourth: As a necessary military precaution., I have reinforced our base at Guantanamo, evacuated today the dependents of our personnel there, and ordered additional military units to be on a standby alert basis.
Fifth: We are calling tonight for an immediate meeting of the Organ of Consultation under the Organization of American States, to consider this threat to hemispheric security and to invoke articles 6 and 8 of the Rio Treaty in support of all necessary action. The United Nations Charter allows for regional security arrangements - and the nations of this hemisphere decided long ago against the military presence of outside powers. Our other allies around the world have also been alerted.
Sixth: Under the Charter of the United Nations, we are asking tonight that an emergency meeting of the Security Council be convoked without delay to take action against this latest Soviet threat to world peace. Our resolution will call for the prompt dismantling and withdrawal of all offensive weapons in Cuba, under the supervision of U.N. observers, before the quarantine can be lifted.
Seventh and finally: I call upon Chairman Khrushchev to halt and eliminate this clandestine, reckless, and provocative threat to world peace and to stable relations between our two nations. I call upon him further to abandon this course of world domination, and to join in an historic effort to end the perilous arms race and to transform the history of man. He has an opportunity now to move the world back from the abyss of destruction - by returning to his government's own words that it had no need to station missiles outside its own territory, and withdrawing these weapons from Cuba - by refraining from any action which will widen or deepen the present crisis - and then by participating in a search for peaceful and permanent solutions.
This Nation is prepared to present its case against the Soviet threat to peace, and our own proposals for a peaceful world, at any time and in any forum - in the OAS, in the United Nations, or in any other meeting that could be useful - without limiting our freedom of action. We have in the past made strenuous efforts to limit the spread of nuclear weapons. We have proposed the elimination of all arms and military bases in a fair and effective disarmament treaty. We are prepared to discuss new proposals for the removal of tensions on both sides - including the possibilities of a genuinely independent Cuba, free to determine its own destiny. We have no wish to war with the Soviet Union - for we are a peaceful people who desire to live in peace with all other peoples. But it is difficult to settle or even discuss these problems in an atmosphere of intimidation. That is why this latest Soviet threat - or any oilier threat which is made either independently or in response to our actions this week - must and will be met with determination. Any hostile move anywhere in the world against the safety and freedom of peoples to whom we are committed - including in particular the brave people of West Berlin - will be met by whatever action is needed.
Finally, I want to say a few words to the captive people of Cuba, to whom this speech is being directly carried by special radio facilities. I speak to you as a friend, as one who knows of your deep attachment to your fatherland, as one who shares your aspirations for liberty and justice for all. And I have watched and the American people have watched with deep sorrow how your nationalist revolution was betrayed - and how your fatherland fell under foreign domination. Now your leaders are no longer Cuban leaders inspired by Cuban ideals.
They are puppets and agents of an international conspiracy which has turned Cuba against your friends and neighbours in the Americas - and turned it into the first Latin American country to become a target for nuclear war - the first Latin American country to have these weapons on its soil.
These new weapons are not in your interest. They contribute nothing to your peace and well-being. They can only undermine it. But this country has no wish to cause you to suffer or to impose any system upon you. We know that your lives and land are being used as pawns by those who deny your freedom.
Many times in the past, the Cuban people have risen to throw out tyrants who destroyed their liberty. And I have no doubt that most Cubans today look forward to the time when they will be truly from foreign domination, free to choose their own leaders, free to select their own system, free to own their own land, free to speak and write and worship without fear or degradation. And then shall Cuba be welcomed back to the society of free nations and to the association of nations of this hemisphere.
My fellow citizens: let no one doubt that this is a difficult and dangerous effort on which we have set out. No one can foresee precisely what course it will take or what costs or casualties will be incurred. Many months of sacrifice and self-discipline lie ahead - months in which both our patience and our will be tested - months in which many threats and denunciations will keep us aware of our dangers. But the greatest danger of all would be to do nothing.
The path we have chosen for the present is full of hazards, as all paths are - but it is the one most consistent with our character and courage as a nation and our commitments around the world. The cost of freedom is always high - but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender or submission.
Our goal is not the victory of might, but the vindication of right-not peace at the expense of freedom, but both peace and freedom, here in this hemisphere, and, we hope, around the world. God willing, that goal will be achieved.

Freedom is not Negotiable!!!
How can any Country or how can the Obama administration even Think of Negotiating with a terrorist!
After 50 years of a government that has done Nothing but destroy its own Country and the Citizens of that country.
I had to verify to make sure the news was real, I could not believe that not only do they beat up on Yoani Sanchez for her blog, the Ladies in White/Las Damas de Blanco, yet NOW they hurt a 5 month old BABY!
This baby is taken from the hands of his mother who opposes the Castro regime.
I guess this should not surprise me, considering what my parents and family had to go through in 1959 to get me out of Cuba. For it was my head for my Fathers.
If you have investments in Cuba, if you are a Tourist, YOU are contributing to violence and terrorist acts upon the people of Cuba. You are negotiating with an illegal and terrorist government!
Castro your day is approaching, your revolution of destruction is over and mark my word your Judgement day is upon you, and all those that support your pathetic revolution.
I am done with you!
For 50 years we have tried inside and outside of Cuba to approach our situation with peace and love for our fellow brothers and sisters on the island.
The political prisoners have called for change and all you to do is throw them in jail, for the simple use of the word, change, elections, etc. You refuse to let go of power and you bring your fist down on those that voice the truth.
You are a madmen with No heart or conscious! You know YOUR end is near. You are so selfish and ruthless, that you are capable of the unimaginable.
Yet before you get to the unimaginable; we will take you down.

About Time President Obama!
President Obama's statement on Cuban human rights from the Los Angeles Times on March 24, 2010.
"Recent events in Cuba, including the tragic death of Orlando Zapata Tamayo, the repression visited upon Las Damas de Blanco, and the intensified harassment of those who dare to give voice to the desires of their fellow Cubans, are deeply disturbing.
These events underscore that instead of embracing an opportunity to enter a new era, Cuban authorities continue to respond to the aspirations of the Cuban people with a clenched fist.
Today, I join my voice with brave individuals across Cuba and a growing chorus around the world in calling for an end to the repression, for the immediate, unconditional release of all political prisoners in Cuba and for respect for the basic rights of the Cuban people.
During the course of the past year, I have taken steps to reach out to the Cuban people and to signal my desire to seek a new era in relations between the governments of the United States and Cuba. I remain committed to supporting the simple desire of the Cuban people to freely determine their future and to enjoy the rights and freedoms that define the Americas, and that should be universal to all human beings".
Mr. President, I hope your are able to discern the truth of the Castro (50year) ruling class and the constant repression, fear tactics and beatings done to the people of Cuba. Simple because they want CHANGE and to Transform their country from a cold war mentality of hatred to a renewed consciouness of loving one another, respect, freedom and embracing their brothers and sisters in Exile. .
With all you have going on in the USA, Thank you for taking the time on the Cuba issue of human rights, NOW!

The Eternal Flame
Sergio Manuel Rodriguez-Lorenzo on Saturday 3/20/2010 started his Fasting at the Bay of Pigs Cuban Memorial on 8th Street and 13th Avenue.
His brother Rolando Rodriguez is with him making sure he does not go on complete hunger strike.
Today, I received a phone call from Rose Mary Suarez on what was transpiring and her own feelings on what is happening in Cuba.
I went to spend sometime with Sergio and his brother, I asked him, Please do not leave us, think of the most important thing you have, your LIFE!
He asked me to write something simple on my blog so that Yoani Sanchez, The Ladies in White and his friend Guillermo Farinas, know that although he finds himself in the land of the free and the home of the brave. His heart is with them, his heart is with Zapata for they were political and or prisoners of consciousness together. His heart is with all those who lost their life in the Bay of Pigs, were caught and jailed by Castro.
Yes, he wants the support and action from President Obama and his administration on the matter of Cuba and all political prisoners.
He feels that many countries are opening their eyes to what the TRUTH of what has been going on in Cuba for over 50 years.
His respect and admiration for Yoani Sanchez, Claudia Cordero and the Ladies in White.
For all his Cuban brothers and sisters who every single day fight to bring awareness to the cruel practices of the Castro brothers and their secret police.
To bring awareness on the many Castro agents currently in Miami, New Jersey, New York and Washington sent by Castro and Chavez.
I asked him what message do you want to give to President Obama and the World.
"Cuba most open to the World and the World must Open to Cuba"!
"We deserve a country free of the Castros once and for all, we want Democracy y Libertad".
We must stop talking about human rights, we must have ACTION on Human Rights NOW!
We are part of the World and the World is part of the Cuban people, the people that Castro hides from the USA and the International community.
The Eternal Flame is in his Heart and Soul, as it is for so many Cubans on the Island and in Exile. One of these Cubans came all the way from Alaska, Yes a Cuban in Alaska, Rafael C. Herrera, the next one planning to fast to show support for those on hunger strike in Cuba.
Here is my humble observation of all this, Our Journey as Cuban brothers and sisters has been long.
Fate, destiny and life has brought us together for a bigger purpose than any of us would've imagined.
Our purpose is driven by Love, yes LOVE of country, family, freedom, democracy, prosperity and united we will stand up and free our country once and for all! There is no stopping us!
For our human spirit when United as ONE will create the impossible!
Divine Justice will be done!
Love, Light and Peace be with us and humanity.
His brother Rolando Rodriguez is with him making sure he does not go on complete hunger strike.

Put your freedom to work
Val Prieto says it perfectly! So I am proud to repost:
I’m not going to sugarcoat or editorialize or plead or try to tug at your heartstrings today. Enough has been said and written about the the Black Spring Crackdown of 2003 and there is plenty of evidence out there to serve as absolute proof of what I am about to shove down your throat:
THERE ARE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN CUBA.
THERE ARE NO CIVIL LIBERTIES IN CUBA.
THERE ARE POLITICAL PRISONERS IN CUBA.
THERE ARE PRISONERS OF CONSCIENCE IN CUBA.
THESE PRISONERS, AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT THEIR CAUSE, ARE SUBJECTED TO UNIMAGINABLE BRUTALITY AND INHUMANITY AND REPRESSION.
And you know what? You are an accomplice to the above. Yeah, that’s right. I said you are complicit in the violations of human rights and the torture of human beings. Because you are
You may not be swinging the club yourself and the epithets may not be coming from your mouth, but you are definitely a party to it. You are allowing it to happen. Turning a blind eye. Ignoring it. You are the three “no evil monkeys” all wrapped up into one.
And you shouldn’t just be ashamed, you should be disgusted. Nauseated. Unable to sleep.
What does it feel like to torture another human being? What does it feel like to stand idly by while a man’s dignity and humanity are ripped away from him, piece by piece, blow by blow?
Right now you’re thinking to yourself that I am ridiculous. Convincing yourself that I am being extreme. Exaggerating. “This guy is nuts,” your saying to yourself. “It’s ludicrous to suggest that I - I! - am somehow responsible for this inhumanity.”
But just let me ask you one thing while you’re busy convincing yourself you aren’t part of the problem:
HAVE YOU DONE ANYTHING TO STOP IT?
Yeah. I thought so. Not a damned thing.
Of course, right about now you’re trying to assuage your conscience because you have so many other things to worry about in your own backyard and really, this is something happening in a whole other country and besides, what do you have that you could possibly use to help?
Let me put it to you this way: If you do nothing, if you stand idly by and allow the blatant abrogation of the human rights of your fellow human beings and the abject subjugation of their dignity, what the hell makes you think you deserve your own? Can you honestly say that you deserve that which you allow be denied to others?
You have the one thing – THE ONE THING – those men and women need. The one thing they have given their lives for.
You have FREEDOM.
USE IT TO GIVE IT TO OTHERS.
Cuba's political prisoners need your SOLIDARITY NOW.
Henry Gomez says it perfectly, too.

The Many Faces of Cuba
Guillermo Farinas as reported by Yoani Sanchez on her twitter feed, he is home from the hospital.
Thank you God!
For many of you it sounds crazy, absurd and why do they do this to themselves?
Simple, for them their bodies are their weapons!
Since in Cuba, under Fidel and Raul Castro and those that are part of their entourage are the only ones with the right to have weapons.
The only delinquency and or crime these man and woman commit is to Think and Feel different, to express their opinion to “El Tirano” Castro.
These man and woman have E_volved in Consciousness, something neither of the Castro’s have done or will ever do.
For the tyrants holding on to their POWER is the only thing they care about.
Blaming everyone, except themselves for what Cuba has become.
Having their agents and or spies in Miami and many other places to continue to promote hatred, division among the Cuban people for this is their Economic Stimulus Package.
My solidarity is with the underdogs that face the brutal dictatorial government of a cruel madmen who only wants to destroy the will, dignity, and the hope of these Cuban patriots and the Cuban people.
These man and woman, who are called the criminals and or delinquents, are fighting for Change, Freedom and the Freedom of future generations to live and let live the way God created all human beings to live.
The Castro’s know, although slowly, yet with Certainty, the day is approaching and they will be gone.
The revolution will be gone and the E-volution of a new day will commence and it will be all driven by Consciousness, Light and Love of God through all these man and woman.
On the day where Cuban brothers and sisters will have reconciliation through the one and only POWER
God the Good!
But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace. ~ Psalm 37:11

ZAPATA VIVE!!!!
You’re a Bridge which touched many Cuban exile hearts.
Zapata was on hunger strike for 85 days, it started during human rights week 12/1/2010.
Many are indifferent, to the plight of Cuban political prisoners and the exile community.
Zapata is one of the many who stood his ground against the inhuman actions of the Castro brothers and others.
The Exile community and different exile groups in Miami, New York, Spain and Italy honored you and your family on Saturday 2/27/2010 and Sunday 2/28/2010.
On Saturday the day started beyond politics at the Cuban National Shrine in Coconut Grove, Florida. La Ermita de la Caridad, in honor of our patron Saint.
The Circle of prayer with the pictures of all those murdered by the terrorist Fidel and Raul Castro, sorry no other name for them. I refuse to be politically correct with those that have no respect for human rights. I call it what it is. I am not here for right or wrong, I am here to bring awareness of the crimes committed for over 50 years by Castro.
From La Ermita we headed to Presido Politico by the Cuban Memorial Walk on Calle Ocho,( 8th Street).
My First time visiting the Presido, I was in shock to see how many pictures of all those who died for freedom and human rights in our homeland, Cuba.
A wooden coffin with Orlando Zapata's picture!
A young violinist, and packed memorial service with Cubans of all ages.
Cubans United together holding the vision of a Free Cuba and comforting Zapata’s mother who was on the phone listening to the service.
The emotion of love, hurt, passion and peace could be felt from the youth to the elders.
In fact from Cubans from 1959 to present moment, the feeling was Oneness with one another and with the people of Cuba.
When the service was over, a down pour of rain, we had to wait, once the down pour settled, we stopped at the Freedom of Art gallery.
Where a wonderful connection was made, all in the name of CUBA!
On Sunday, The members of El Presido Politico marched to the Eternal Flame, the Cuban Memorial on Calle Ocho.
We all joined together at the Versailles Restaurant, to participate with the youth organization O-JEC.
We formed a human chain to show the World that the Cuban Exile community or at least a good number of us in Miami; are United on our journey towards a Free Cuba with democracy and without the Castro brothers.
Will you join the Conga line to a free CUBA!!!
RIP ZAPATA....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

The common denominator between generations of Cubans….
If you are 95 or if your 25 and find yourself as a Cuban exile in the USA or anywhere in the World.
It is because you cannot live in true freedom, democracy and prosperity in your homeland, Cuba.
On February 18 a day of listening to a 95 year old!!! He lived the episode of January 1, 1959, and more, when Fidel Castro took over Cuba.
What a blessing to be able to get to 95 is clear of mind; healthy and just have a few 95 year old issues.
What an honor to once again be in the presence of a dear friend of my parents and husband of my Godmother, Bettina.
Cornel Armando Echemendia, spent 20 years in a political prison, everyday they yelled Paredon. Meaning… take him to the firing squad! God had bigger plans for Cornel Armando; he re-united with his family in 1980, and started his life over, after spending 20 years as a political prisoner.
As we spent the afternoon together along with his daughter whom also remembers all the terror that took place in Columbia, military base in Mariano, Cuba 1959.
The more I listened to him and his daughter. It is evident that it does NOT matter when you left Cuba as a political prisoner or if you were just someone seeking freedom, democracy or the American dream.
The bottom line, you or we are all equal on this plight for Liberty & Democracy in Cuba.
A democracy that has never truly been, perhaps it is our duty to bring it to our homeland.
Finally, man like Cornel Armando Echemendia, General Francisco Tabernilla, and others are able to tell their story. They are able to explain the story of those man and woman silenced by death by Castro and Che. Or silenced by the roughness of the ocean, who never made it to the Florida shores, or wherever the ocean would take them. Silenced by the downing of their aircraft. To confirm, the story, to the children and or grand children of those silenced by their early death.
We know the Castro regime and those who continue to follow them, are annoyed of the raising of the historical exiles, annoyed that the other side of the story will and is being told, not by those who never did anything but by man who were part of the timeline of 1952 to 1959. Man and woman who have shown humbleness throughout the years, who accepted their fate, yet never forgot where, why, what and how they arrived on this journey.
They were carried by faith, wisdom, courage, and foresight that someway, somehow the story would be told for future generations.
I encourage all those who only know how to divide and criticize, for the sake of keeping a cruel mad man in power. To walk in the shoes of these man and woman who throughout the years have fought to defend their nation and demand their human and civil rights, under something the cruel mad men erased from our history, the Constitution of Cuba.
It is time for all Cubans of all generations to rise up, stand your ground and face your truth.
Perhaps it is up to our generation to help those inside Cuba once and for all be the Country so many have dreamed of.
A country that will never again fall in the hands of a dictator, people to understand that to have democracy it is through “we the people” and democracy is not made by one man or woman.
Liberty and Democracy are sustained by a vision, by a proclamation and the will to be free!

Where do we draw the line?
Our truth shall be told and the truth will set us free!!!
This is my respond on all the talk about this so called Cuban Cultural Exchange.
The Cubans or whomever in Miami who openly supports the tyrant that is 90 miles away and has always longed to destroy the USA, whom Castro calls the Yankees! And I do not mean the baseball team.
Here are 2 what if examples, with respect to my Jewish and African American friends:
If the band promoter for the Nazi movement were in Miami, Fort Lauderdale or anywhere promoting a concert, I am certain this would not go over well with the Jewish community, for the murders of innocent people, murdered for having a different faith and opinion. For my Jewish friends anything related to their madman, Hitler would not go over well.
Another example, the African American community who would never allow a slave owners band to just come in and NOT show respect to their community.
Yes, here we go the Cuban exile community has shown openness, tolerance, respect and have embraced those that someway or another support and promote the Castro dictatorship. Who by the way are full of killings without due process, a dictatorship that continues to murder, jail and beat up on anyone on the island that thinks, feels or has a different opinion.
While the people of Cuba do not have simple resources such as drinking water, toilet paper, and cannot eat the same food the Castro dynasty and his agents have everyday.
Castro’s agenda, keep the exile community divided by generation. Blame it on the embargo, I like to know, what embargo? Keep them fighting, try not to make it political.
I do not know about YOU, I will NOT allow these jerks to continue to insult my intelligence, to continue to blame the historical exiles and the embargo for Castro’s own failure due to his madness and hate of his own people. Give me a break!
The Cuban exiles showed these Castro double agents (puppets), what living in liberty and democracy is all about. A few Cubans went to hear Los Van Van and another group protested outside and exercised one of their civil rights. By the way, something that is NOT allowed to be done in Cuba, if you do, the Castro police, will beat you, jail you or kill you. BIG Difference!
Here is my take, the Castro dynasty is over and out, they know it, they are holding on to their power by trying to continue with their old tactics. They do not have the courage to step down from power and leave Cuba. They can only relay on their agents (puppets) whom in my view are no different than the cruel madman.
I think for all people and nations there is a point where the line has to be drawn.
In the United States we live in democracy and it is the only reason, why certain Castro agents (puppets) are attacking the Cuban community.
With their same political blame game on the historical exiles, the embargo and the USA.
Wake up PEOPLE!!! smell the café, the only one to blame is your disgusting dictator Fidel and Raul Castro and all those who have followed their lead for years, these are the ones that You have allowed to stripe you of your God given freedom.
STOP the attacks on the historical exiles, let me make myself very clear, when you attack them, YOU attack all of us. You attack all those that left seeking to live in freedom, a better life for themselves and their loved ones for we are all Cuban exiles. Regardless, of when and how you got to Miami or wherever, you left for a very BIG reason.
For those Cubans who continue to talk non-sense about the country that has helped them, the USA, if it is so bad here, why the heck did you decide to leave Cuba? Go back to Castro since he has been so wonderful to you.
The bottom-line you and Castro LOVE THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!!!
The Cuba issue is not an economic issue it is a political issue.
In closing, stop saying that art and music is separate from politics, NOTHING is separate from anything, everything is inter-connected.

It is not personal, it is what it is.
Living in Liberty, Democracy, Prosperity and United!
The Freedom of Expression, the right to demonstrate in a peaceful manner
It is not personal, it is what it is.
On Sunday, January 31, the controversial Cuban group Los Van Van will perform in concert in Miami.
Miami is considered the Capital City of the Exile community, whom many with a conscious do not agree with this concert.
Why, because the leader of the music group Los Van Van ( Juan Formel) is one of the many puppets of the Castro brothers who have murdered their own Cuban people.
The promoters of this concert are the promoters of the Castro regime, who have shown their true colors, have no compassion or respect for the pain of the Cuban exiles.
Many exiles lost their loved ones to the killing machine that is and has been the Castro brothers.
In the Cuban community throughout the World, many man and woman were political prisoners and know the truth of this madmen and his puppets. Many fought against Castro in la sierra maestra. Many were children of operation, Peter Pan. Many came in the Mariel boat lift, many risked their life in the Florida straights to make it to the land of the free.
This hypocritical cultural exchange is one of the many false exchanges of the Castro regime. Along with certain exiles and Washington politicians whom do not want Cuba to be free from the Castro regime or whom are just blind sided by a myth.
If you want cultural exchange, if the group Los Van Van can come to Miami than those musicians persecuted by Castro and his puppets, should have the same equal rights.
Yet they do not have equal rights because their music expresses the truth of the Castro regime. These artists should also be allowed to travel outside of Cuba, along with the famous blogger Yoani Sanchez, whom was denied travel to receive one of many awards.
Moreover, artist such as Gloria Estefan, Willie Chirino and many others should be able to do a concert in Cuba, with NO Conditions from the Castro regime. In fact all Miami exiles can attend the concert in Cuba this is true cultural exchange.
Inconvenient truth for Castro and his puppets!
We refuse to be manipulated by the Castro brothers or their puppets; we will show you what living in Liberty is all about.
Oh, you have Hugo Cancio, another promoter of the concert, all upset at the truth of a billboard that his leader Fidel and Raul Castro are assassins.
In fact, we consider the Castro brothers terrorist and enemies of the State of Florida and the USA.
NO! I do not support any hypocritical cultural exchange!
I have nothing against the group Los Van Van, this is not personal, this deals with human and civil rights toward the people of Cuba and respect to the exile community.
I do not support anyone that promotes anything for the Castro regime, which by the way is an illegal government, for the Cuban people have not held “Free Elections” since Castro took over.
In fact, the Castro regime is illegal and not supported by the Constitution of Cuba.
Mark my word, we will, take back Cuba!
Enjoy your concert,

Pro-Cuba Association of West Palm Beach
In a meeting with good friends in Palm Beach County who like many of us, long for all Cubans, to Unite in One objective, to have Liberty & Democracy once and for all in Cuba.
We realize that many people who are in Cuba, show their courage on a daily bases by bravely expressing and demanding their human and civil rights to the Castro government.
We want them to know they are NOT alone for so many of us are with you on this final journey toward a Cuba with Liberty, Democracy, Prosperity and United.
This association will be honoring, Jose Marti on January 28, 2010 with flowers at the West Palm Beach, Jose Marti memorial. On Sunday, January 31, 2010 they continue the celebration at the Cuban-American Club in WPB. I will share a poem by Armando Acosta one of the members of Pro-Cuba Association.
Con el dolor que progresa
en el fondo del ayer,
sabremos siempre volver
a nuestra querida Tierra.
Pro-Cuba no morira
mientras nos quede el aliento,
para gritar frente al viento:
Dios, Patria y la Libertad.
Tras de tanto sacrificio
mas alla del cielo mismo,
Cuba al fin, sin comunismo,
no caera en otro suplicio.
Vuelvo mis ojos al cielo
dando gracias al Senor,
porque al canalla y traidor
lo aparte de nuestro suelo.
PRO-CUBA no olvidara
cuando nos llegue el regreso,
de ofrendar la flor de un beso
por los quedados aca.
They will be honored to wear the T-shirt....Exilio Unido Ya!
For it is up to all of us in Exile and those inside Cuba to be the change we want to see once and for all...those that everyday try to make a difference and let the World know the truth of the Castro regime. I will name a few: Yoani Sanchez, Dr. Elis de Biscet, Las Damas en Blanco, Martha Beatrice Roque, Antunez and many many more.....
Together, Yes We Can!
